M.A.P.P. (Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting) is a thirty hour class that is required by the State of Florida in order to be considered for foster care licensure or adoption approval. M.A.P.P. was designed to assist prospective foster and adoptive parents work with the agency to assure safety, well-being, and permanence for children; decide if the time is right to foster/adopt for you and your family; and decide if you are willing and able to partner with all the adults involved with the child.
