A core value of Camelot Community Care is to be leaders in our community and to advocate for the betterment of children.

Child Welfare Funding

Protecting Florida's abused, abandoned, neglected and at-risk children is everyone's responsibility and key to a better future for our communities.  Private providers in Florda have significantly improved well-being and outcomes for foster children but changes in statute and practices in recent years has led to an increase of children needing services.  While the number of children needing services has increased, funding to private providers responsible for providing required services has changed very little and in some cases has been reduced.
