School Based Day Treatment also known as “New Directions” is an intensive, structured, goal oriented, distinct, and identifiable treatment service that utilizes multiple mental health interventions that address individualized mental health needs of the client. New Directions is embedded in local Hamilton County school districts to provide the least restrictive environment for clients. The program employs a highly structured environment with well trained staff to guarantee sufficient therapeutic services and professional monitoring, control, and protection. New Directions recently adopted Trust-Based Relational Therapy (TBRI) recognized as a best practice in addressing childhood trauma.
